    • How it works
  • Lamivudine and Stavudine are nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) that block the HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme, preventing the virus from making copies of its genetic material.
  • Nevirapine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) that directly inhibits the same enzyme through a different mechanism.

  • Together, these medicines reduce HIV replication, lower viral load, and help preserve immune function. 
    • Dosage
  • Take one tablet as prescribed by your HIV specialist.
  • Take the medicine at the same time every day.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with water.
